FINANCIAL DONATIONS

Central Church has a strong mission outreach program reaching hundreds of people each month. Although we operate on a very tight budget, we are able to accomplish a great deal. Please consider supporting our work with a financial donation directed to a mission initiative that speaks to your heart.

Gifts in any amount, large or small, are welcome and necessary to help us continue in ministry. Undesignated gifts help us defray routine operating expenses and much more.

FOOD DONATIONS

Most of our food-related ministries at Central address food insecurity.  All of the food we collect is used to help people in need, and to build a sense of community.

Non-perishable food items are collected all year long.  Special appeals are made in our Sunday bulletins and through our Giving Calendar.  We are blessed by donations made by individuals, and we also receive food indirectly through 412 Food Rescue.  We share excess donations with our local Meals on Wheels program, the Knead Cafe in New Kensington, neighboring area churches, and others in need.

We have many other food-related ministries not listed here.  Please ask for a food ministries flyer to learn more about how you can help address food insecurity in our area.

CLOTHING DONATIONS

Clothing donations are welcome at any time.  Men's, women's, and all children's and baby's clothing are accepted, as well as accessories like purses shoes, and belts.

The best time to bring donations to the church is on Saturdays when the clothing closet is open.  Otherwise, use the buttons below to call or e-mail the church to schedule a donation appointment.  Can't bring in your donation? Contact us and we will arrange a pick-up for your donation.

The congregation routinely collects donations of clothing items throughout the year.  Special appeals are made for children's undergarments (Undie Sundays) as well as for children's socks and winter coats.

MOBILITY EQUIPMENT DONATIONS

While Central Church collects mobility equipment all year-long, we conduct major mobility equipment drive every spring during May and June.  The donations we collect are distributed by one of our partner organizations, Global Links.

These donations include walkers, (non-motorized) wheelchairs, canes, and other items.
